The Royal Britannian Press

The Royal Britannian Press is a news distribution source for the citizens of Britannia.  A departmental function of the High Council, the Royal Britannian Press has two functions.  The first is to make available functional documents of the High Council.  The second is to provide a newspaper to the citizens of Britannia to keep them abreast of the activities in the realm.

The Royal Britannian Press makes the Britannian Times available every Wednesday through vendors and town criers throughout the lands.  The vendors (named "Britannian Times") sell the newspaper regularly until sold out; town criers will be near local banks for short periods throughout each distribution run making them available to the public in person (while announcing events of the land).  Subscriptions are also available for those willing to make delivery arrangements.

The Britannian Times accepts submissions from the public.  We ask that submissions be dropped off at the Royal Britannian Press Drop Box (located on the first floor of the High Council Civic Center behind the bronze counter).  Please submit your article in a red or blue book.  Submission length is requested to be no more than 4 book pages in length, as we wish to have a diverse newspaper available.  Submissions may be edited to fit, or held for a future issue due to space constraints.  Submissions of an inappropriate nature will not be published.

Please format your submissions with the title of your article, your name, and then the text of your submission following two lines below (see example above).

Available at...

The High Council Civic Center, located in Compassion Grove, the heart-shaped clearing between Britain and Yew, on the Trammel facet.

The Windy Haven Tavern may be found in Whispering Winds, located just east of Skara Brae, along the road to Britain and Yew, on the Trammel facet.

Located in Newcastle, the Royal Oaks Tavern lies just a walk west of the mountains that surround the dungeon Wrong on the Trammel facet.

Near the crossroads betwixt Yew, Britain, Minoc, and Vesper, the Fishing Council of Britannia, known to many as The FCB, is located a short walk east of the Desert of Compassion on the Trammel facet.

In the Living City itself, Luna, High Drama may be found on the northern side of city-center.  Martin, the crier here, matches the decor of his co-workers, but cries out "Britannian Times" so that you may recognize him.

The Minoc Town Council Office, located just north of Minoc proper (on the Trammel facet) has allowed us to post a crier on the front steps of their office, delivering the Britannian Times to the local residents of the Minoc area.

The Two Pillars Inn, located just southwest of Yew, and northwest of Shame, sits on a sunny beach overlooking the sea upon the Trammel facet.  [Please note that this vendor is not directly run by the RBP, and may be slightly delayed in the release of the paper each week.]

The Temple of Nexchronosis is located in the heart of Dracona, located at the crossroads between Yew, Britain, and Minoc, near the Desert of Compassion, on the Felucca facet.
